We don’t have enough red blood cells a lot of times, we don’t have enough platelets a lot of times. So we bruise very easily. But some of those bruises can very quickly, be a blood clot, especially if they’re warm to the touch and especially in our legs a lot.

And you don’t want to alert the doctor or go to ER, and them be like, “It’s a bruise, you’re fine.” You know who wants to do that? Because 99% of the time it is a false alarm. So I feel silly, you know, myself, I feel silly going into the hospital and be like, “I need an ultrasound of my leg.” And they’re like, “Weren’t you just here for weeks ago?” You know?

But I have had a blood clot before in my leg. So it really is a very big important thing, It’s one of the number one things that can happen to us and that can be the most dangerous for us.
